Foundation Stage

The Foundational Stage is a critical period for laying the groundwork for future learning and development. By providing a nurturing and engaging environment, it helps children build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning, preparing them for the next stages of their education. 

Age Range:
3 to 8 years old, comprising 3 years of preschool (or Anganwadi) and the first two years of primary school (Classes 1 and 2).
Learning Approach:
Emphasizes play-based, activity-oriented, and discovery-based learning.
Focus Areas:
Physical development, socio-emotional and ethical development, cognitive development, language and literacy development, and aesthetic and cultural development.
